Purge Plugs offer a usefulalternative for small bore pipework. They can also be used for leak testing. 0.5", 0.75", 1", 1.25" and 1.5" plugs can bedelivered with a solid stem or a hollow shaft.The 0.5", 0.75", 1",1.25" and 1.5" hollow shaftplugs have a 10 mm thread on the outside of the shaft.The 1.5", 2", 2.5", 3", 4", 5" and 6" all have 0.5"BSP shaft.

HFT Nylon Plug plates do not flex or distort like other plastic plugs. Chemical seals . Are available as options to replace natural rubber ones provided. Use with Silicone for highertemperatures, Silicone and Nitrile for use with hydraulic oils etc. Viton seals are also available. Demountability . HFT Nylon Plugs are demountable to allow cleaning and partreplacement.

® Purge Plugs may offer a satisfactory option.Typical purging applications include:-Use for small or odd diameter pipes where purge systems ordam systems may not be available or practical.Short, complicated, variable size assemblies where purgingsystems or dams would be too long or do not match thediameters being worked on.The expanding rubber seal allows the plugs to be used forweld purging oval and out of round tubes as well as in elbows,tees and other fittings.These plugs are also ideal for creating an air-tight seal forleak testing operations. •Made from engineering quality nylon up to 150 mm (6")diameter.•Virtually shatter-proof.•Easily cleaned.•Will not rust or corrode.•A friction-reducing acetal copolymer thrust washer insertedbetween the top plate and wing nut provides easyexpansion and release.•Larger sizes incorporate strengthening ribs to providerigidity in use.•Standard seals made from natural rubber with silicone andnitrile rubber alternatives. Friction Free Washer . The hollow shaft plugs (1

" ) have a friction free washerbetween the wing nut and the top plate to enable easy tightening and loosening. Identification . Our plugs show no identification and can be provided in your own coloursorwith your own name as required. Temperature . The plugs can be used up to 75 º C continuously and 105 º C intermittently.With special high temperature seals they can be used continuously up to 120 º C.
