The line of granulators is ideal for recovering waste materials and sprues, both in the injection and blow moulding fields. Immediate recovery reduces the risk of contamination and moisture re-absorption which could affect the transformation process. Piovan offers a wide range of granulators, characterised by a rotor with single or multiple blades. The rotor diameter can range from 150 to 300 mm. The rotor geometry ensures a reduced formation of dust, which results in high quality regrind. Thanks to the integrated sound-proof treatment of the machine’s body, Piovan granulators ensure reduced noise levels. Added devices guarantee that maintenance and cleaning operations are always safe for the operator. The Piovan RPA mould industrial dryers prevent the formation of condensation on the mould surface under any atmospheric condition for temperatures up to 35 ° C and relative humidity of 80%. These units are ideal for injection moulding and fast blow moulding as well as for PET applications. The RPA models air-condition the atmosphere generating an airflow with a dew point ranging from 0 ° C to -10 ° C. They create a steady and controlled micro-climate in the mould area all year round. The dryers of this series ensure important advantages, such as increased number of moulding cycles, reduction of scrap and production of high quality items with a perfect surface. The Piovan Software Division develops supervisory and control software designed for an optimised management of the plants and for the simple and user-friendly monitoring of auxiliary equipment from one or more remote stations. As well as the most complete supervisory software which allows for all Piovan machines present in the system to be controlled, specific versions dedicated to single process phases are available. All Piovan software systems are designed to flexibly adapt to the different configurations of the plant.
