The Piovan range of single-phase and three-phase
hopper loaders covers any production demand for vacuum transport of plastic granules to the processing machines. The single phase models can convey up to 200 kg/h at distances of up to 20 m. The three-phase models are characterised by a separate blower from the vacuum receiver and they ensure, in their standard version, a conveying capacity of up to 2000 kg/h. All models are equipped with the microprocessor control Easy2System. This is an advanced management system for centralised material conveying and it controls all components of a transport system. Outdoor and indoor silos, manual or automatic material distribution stations,
vacuum pumps manufacturer and receivers can all be managed by the Easy2System logic, from just one keypad.
The Piovan G Series
hot air dryers are designed to remove surface moisture from non hygroscopic plastic granules. For the correct processing of hygroscopic polymers, Piovan proposes the DS dryers with molecular sieve desiccant beds. These dryers are capable of supplying dry air with a dew point lower than -40
3 /h, which can be combined with stainless steel hoppers from 10 to 10,000 litre capacity. The perfect proportion between diameter and height of the drying
industrial hopper ensures a uniform material drop, while the integrated insulation ensures homogeneous temperature distribution within the granules. The dryers can be supplied as a single unit or as a centralised
drying system which feeds dehumidified material to several processing machines while covering all plant requirements.
