The optimum solution for universal control for mechanical presses is now available in the automation system PSS 4000. The safe rotary cam arrangement consists of: the control system PSSuniversal PLC, press blocks (known from the PNOZmulti m2p) expanded to include the new CamController block, and a special rotary encoder from Pilz. The new electronic camshaft (eCamShaft) replaces conventional mechanical camshafts.
