side B is completed with an element for mecha-
nical fiber rotation (combination of part
no. O-105-06, O-205-00). Side A can be adjusted using microme-ter drives for mechanical motion in x-, y-
and z-direction. Side B can be equippedwith a TRITOR element for finest piezoelectric motion up to 100 µm.
Several accessories such as fiber holders
or holders for microobjectives are avail-
able and can be mounted on the top
plate on both sides. In the picture FAPOS 2/2 was developed especially forprecision positioning of optical compo-
nents, e.g.
fiber coupling problems.
