Welcome
to the product catalog on piezoelectrical positioning systems from piezosystem jena®.
piezosystem jena® is a world leading company in the development, design and engineering piezo electrical actuator based positioning systems for micro- and nano-positioning and nano-automation. Our company consists of a highly motivated team of qualified engineers with more than 17 years of experience in research and development of piezoelectrical drives. All piezo stages and ceramic systems are designed by FEA and measured using special interferometric metrology equipment. piezosystem jena® is experienced in the development of special systems and OEM manufacturing.
Jena is well known all over the world as a city of high technology in optics and precision mechanics. This is where our development, production, worldwide sales and marketing departments are united under the same roof. From here we service our representatives e. g. in the U.S., Japan, France, Great Britain, Korea, Israel, Italy, Taiwan as well as our customers in over 40 other countries.
Due to numerous advantages over conventional drives piezoelectrical positioning technology has prominently established itself in the micro-positioning field during the past several years.
The following features are particularly advantageous:
■ almost unlimited refinement of motion
■ high generated forces
■ motion without mechanical play
■ very short response time
■ no wear
■ suitable for vacuum and cryogenic applications
On the next pages, you will find several examples for the use of piezoelectrical elements in research and development.
Whether you need straightforward piezo-electrical positioning systems or a complex design and prototype please contact us or our representative in your country.
We look forward to each new application.
