PSM Servo Motors Application Ranges

Small size, high torque, high, low mass inertia and high overload capacity of the Phytron synchronous servo motors open up completely new solutions in the automation technology. Typical applications are found, e.g., in the semiconductor industry and chip fabrication, packing and labeling machines, paper and printing industry, food and beverage industry or in handling systems Type PSM Phytron synchronous servo motors are brushless, permanently excited 3-phase synchronous motors. The motors are available with 25, 37 and 55 mm flange size, the stall torque is 0.03 to 0.9 Nm. Connected to suitable converters, the motors can be operated in speed or torque control. The standard motor design is constructed with a built-in 2-pole resolver for rotation speed feedback. Optionally the Phytron synchronous servo motors can be supplied with holding brake and gear options.
