Output Voltage Range -20 to +120 V II. External Control:

Output voltage is controlled byan analog signal applied to the BNC input ranging from -2 to+12 Volts. Multiplying by thegain factor of 10, an output voltage range of -20 to +120 Volts results. The DC-offset potentiometer adds a DC biasto the input, allowing continu- ous shifting of the input range between -2 V to +12 V and -12 V to +2 V (see page 6-52).For computer-controlled opera-tion, an E-516.I3, 20-bit DACinterface/display module can be used (requires E-500/ E-501 chassis). See graph for fre- quency response with selected LVPZTs. The E-505.00 is a piezo drivermodule for low-voltage PZTs. Itcan output and sink a peak cur-rent of 2000 mA and an aver- age current of 300 mA. The E-505.00 can be operated in two ways:

I. Manual Control: Notes The output voltage can be setby a 10-turn, DC-offset po- tentiometer in the range of 0 to100 Volts. E-505.00 amplifier is not astand-alone device. It is de- signed to work in the E-500/ E-501 chassis (p. 6-18) with integrated power supply. A 32- pin connector is used to inter- face with the E-500/E-501 chas-sis.
