These new stages provide one of the lowest profiles on the marketof high-performance transla-tion stages, making them ideal- ly suited for applications where space is limited. The stages feature a precision-machined base of high-density, stress-relieved aluminum for excep-tional stability and minimum weight. Precision-ground recir- culating ballscrews (better accuracy than rolled ball-screws) with preloaded nuts provide low-friction, mainte- nance-free and backlash-free positioning.
