General specifications

The control interface unit is operated as aslave on the PROFIBUS-DP. Up to 4 readheads can be connected to the control interface unit. All read heads connected tothe device are detected and the codes whichare read in transmitted in a cycle. The address is set via Dip switches, and theterminating resistor for the bus is connectedvia a rotary switch. Number of read heads max. 4
