Interrelation of the Matrix Code ECC 200 symbol sizes

Example:

For coding 40 numerical characters, a Matrix size of 18x18 is required according to table row 6 and due to the additional pattern the symbol size must be 20x20.

At a module size of e.g. 0.3 mm,

the required space amounts to

(0.3 x 20) mm x (0.3 x 20) mm = 6 mm x 6 mm plus

a quiet zone of approx. 1...2 mm around the code.
