The code carrier can still be safely read froma distance of more than 3 m, even whenseveral code carriers are located in the readzone.Each code carrier is delivered ex works withan invariable and unique 8-digit decimalnumber and a 32-bit test check sum whichdetects the data carrier unambiguously andthus unmistakably. An ecologically friendlylithium cell assures a long action timeregardless of the number of read processes.Towards the end of the capacity, one bitwhich can be evaluated by means of theread/write device during the next data
transfer, is set in the status register of thecode carrier. The MTO-C1 code carrier can either be fixed
with a clip, a card retainer, magnetically orwith
