VBG-IP-K5-DMAS-Interface industrial gateway Technical data Function

General specifications

The VBG-IP-K5-DM is an Ethernet gatewayfor 2parallel AS-i lines, which means thatthe data of 2AS-i lines can be transmitted via an IP address. Each Industrial ethernet gateway issupplied with a unique MAC-ID. An IPaddress can be assigned to the gateway bymeans of this MAC-ID and Bootp. The design of the master is ideal for use in acabinet. Two push buttons are used for addressassignment of the AS-Interface slaves andacceptance of the desired configuration. Inconfiguration mode, all detected AS-Interface slaves are displayed on the 2-digitLCD. In normal operation, the LCD is blankunless the master detects a faulty AS-Interface slave. There are 7LEDs on the front panel for rapid diagnostics.
