| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 7 Photoelectric AS-Interface Sensors Photoelectric sensors play a central role today when the goal is to detect or professional monitor objects without touching them. They are used wherever various objects must be positioned, classified, or counted. Various versions of the photoelectric sensors with AS-Interface interface are available. These include rectangular housings with terminal case or M12 connectors specifications, and also VariKont M housings. One particular feature is the support of the new specification 2.1 of the bus protocol. For the first time, there is a line of photoelectric sensors for this extended standard.
