AS-Interface

5.6Display and control modules

illuminated pushbutton modules are used for decentralised control and dis-play of status. There are two designs available. The LT2 illuminated pushbutton module in the G1 design has two integrated buttons, to which 2 inputs and 2 outputs can be connected. The outputs must be set by the master, and the inputs can be assigned to functions stored in the master. Due to its high IP67 protection class, this illuminated pushbutton module can also be used in the field.Up to 6 illuminated pushbuttons can be installed in the

The 94x180mm housing can be used with stand- ard installation modules of 22 m diameter. The assignment to the AS-Inter-face connection integrated with ground proceeds over single wires on the built-in buttons. In the basic version, there are 4 inputs and 4 outputs avail-able. An extension board allows the module to be extended to 8 inputs and 8 outputs.

5.7Printed circuit board module

To integrate AS-Interface into existing devices, we also carry circuit board solutions (type code CB ). Standard boards with up to 4 inputs and 4 outputs are available, as well as special prefabricated solutions or build-in modules in a plastic housing. New customer-specific solutions are also simply and quickly implemented. Pins, single wires, or terminals may be selected as standard connection type.

5.8Engine professional starter

Manufacturers of frequency converters for the speed regulation of motors and drives are be- ing installed decentrally in the field more and more often.AS-Interface enables drives and motors to be decentrally controlled, too. The robust design of the VAA-1E3A-M18-ZE/E2-V1 module in an M18 housing is also suitable for harsh industrial applications and is easy to screw into many devices and flexible for wiring. Since some motors also have M25 screwed connections, the module includes an M25 adaptor for mounting. The engine starter is externally connectable to the AS-Interface flat wire using an M12 connector suppliers. The engine starter provides one input and 3 outputs (for instance, for fast/slow/stop), which use an external manufacturers of power supply. For address configuration, the engine starter can simply be plugged into the VBP-HH1 handheld.
