General specifications

The VAA-4E2A-G1-ZE/P-S module features4inputs for the connection of 2- or 3-wiresensors and 2pneumatic outputs with a high air flow rate for direct control of pneumaticdrives in the field. 2separate 3/2-way valvesare integrated in the module. Both the valveand the sensors connected to the moduleare supplied via the bus cable.The sensors are connected to the module viaM12x1-circular connectors specifications; the outputs areconnected to the pneumatic drive via stand-ard professional hose plug-in connectors (LEGRIS LF 3000, 8mm).Various bases are available for the mod-ule.The U-G1F (or U-G1FA) base providesthe connection to the AS-Interface flat cabling;the U-G1P base provides the connection to around cable.It happens very frequently that output mod-ules must be installed in series with thepneumatic module. If the outputs of the out- put modules are supplied with externalpower transferred via a flat cable, a suitableEEMS base (U-G1FF or U-G1FFA) must be used for the pneumatic module. In this case,VAA-4E2A-G1-ZE/P-S accesses the AS-Interface cable instead of the power supplycable.
