Indicators/operating means
The VBA-2A-G4-I analogue module has twoanalogue current outputs 0mA...20mA.Measured value conversion and data trans-
mission are performed asynchronously inaccordance with AS-Interface profile7.3.Depending on how the plug-in jumpers arewired, the outputs can be powered from theAS-Interface or the external auxiliary powerthrough the black flat wire. The resolution ofanalog values is 13bits.The G4 module in IP65 is particularly suita-ble for hard field use. The connection to the
outputs is established by screwed connec-tions and cage-suppliers of clamp terminals. This makesthe installation especially user friendly. Themodule can be plugged directly onto theadapter of the VBP-HH1 of the hand heldprogramming device for pre-addressing.The connection to the AS-Interface transmis-sion line and the external 24VDC powersupply can be made with flat wire or round
cable. If AS-Interface flat wire is used, thelower part of the U-G1FF should be used.The contact to the two lines is made with the
EEMS interface standardised for AS-Inter-face, i.e. using the insulation penetrationtechnique.For a round cable, the U-G1PP base shouldbe used. Here as well, it is possible to con-nect both the AS-Interface lead and theexternal professional power supply in the base.
