Indicators/operating means

The VBA-2E-G4-U analogue module has twoanalogue voltage inputs 0V...10V. Theasynchronous transformation of measured values and the data transfer is accomplishedin accordance with AS-Interface profile7.3.The measured-value transmitter can be sup-plied from the AS-Interface or from the exter-nal auxiliary power via the black flat cable,depending on the wiring of the industrial plug-in jump-ers. The resolution of the analogue values is16bit. System disturbances are eliminatedusing a professional filter, programmable via P0 (50Hz/60Hz).The IP65 rated G4 module is especially suit-able for rough conditions. Connection to themeasured-value professional transmitters is establishedby means of cable glands and cage tensionspring terminals thus making the installationespecially user-friendly. For pre-addressingthe module, it can be plugged directly ontothe adapter of the hand-held programming device VBP-HH1.Both flat and round professional cables can be used forthe connection of the AS-Interface transmis- sion line and the external 24VDC powersupply. Use the U-G1FF base for the AS-Interface flat cable. The AS-Interface stand-ardised EEMS interface, uses the cablepiercing method to connect both the yellowand black flat cables.Use the U-G1PP base for a round cable. TheAS-Interface-cable as well as the externalpower supply may be connected within theU-G1PP base.
