Indicators/operating means
The VBA-4E-G4-Pt100 analogue modulehas four analogue inputs for Pt100 RTDs.The asynchronous transformation of meas-
ured values and the data transfer is accom-plished in accordance with AS-Interfaceprofile7.3. The resolution of the analoguevalues is 16bit or 0.1°C. System distur-bances are eliminated using a programmablefilter (50Hz/60Hz).The IP65 rated G4 module is especially suit-able for use in hazardous environments.Connection to the measured-value transmit-
ters is established by means of cable glandsand cage tension professional spring terminals thus mak-ing the installation especially user-friendly.For pre-addressing the module, it can beplugged directly onto the adapter of thehand-held programming device VBP-HH1.Various bases are available for the module.Use the U-G1F base to connect to the AS-Interface flat wire, and the U-G1P base to
connect to the round cable. The bases can,at the same time, be used as IP67 rated dis-tributor box. Moreover, they both have two
connection possibilities for AS-Interfacecables.Output modules often have to be mounted inseries with input modules. The outputs of theoutput modules are supplied externally withpower. If the power is supplied via a flatcable, the power cable has to be mounted inthe base of the input module. The U-G1FFbase should be used in this case. The VBA-4E-G4-Pt100 then uses the AS-Interfacecable instead of the power cable.
