In Europe they comply with the ATEX Directives, obtaining approvals to Zone 0 (Category 1), Zone 1 (Category 2), and Zone 2 (Category 3). Peli Lights are built of ABS Resin, Xenoy®, CNC-machined aluminum, and other special materials which make them extremely resistant to shock, drops, chemicals and other extreme conditions. | Innovations such as our battery polarity tray make operating the light impossible if one or more cells are inverted. Available on selected models, this feature safeguards against dangerous "outgassing" from an accidentally reversed cell.
