| EO electric two-position control - The EO is a two-position control where the max and min displacements are governed by a DC solenoid (acting on the servo spool) which is attached to the control module (refer to the illustration on page 42). - The EO is utilized in transmissions where only two operating modes are required - low speed/high torque and high speed/low torque. - The servo piston, normally in the max displacement position, shifts to min displacement as soon as the solenoid is activated. - Intermediate displacements cannot be obtained with this control. |
