| | | General Information It is sometimes impossi le to mount a flow control directly on the port of the cylinder, either due to lack of space or ecause of the need for remote ad ustment of the flow control. o resolve this pro lem in-line flow controls are designed to mount on the piping etween the directional valve and the cylinder or can e mounted on the control panel next to other control units. | | |

| | | Desi ned to e Versatile Parker In-Line Flow Controls are unidirectional flow control valves. Intake air flows freely through the flow control exhaust air is metered out through a specially designed ad ustment screw. An arrow on the ody of the valve indicates the direction of controlled flow. Since it is a tu e to tu e connection, our in-line flow controls may e installed as a meter in or a meter out device. Parker in-line flow controls can e easily added to existing circuitry. Simply splice it into the cylinder port line. In-line flow controls may e used individually or, they may e stacked together using two oining clips, supplied standard with each valve. Panel mounting is accomplished y using the through holes in the molded ody. | | |

| | | Ad ustment C aracteristics Control is achieved through a nely threaded special ad ustment screw. he special shaped ad ustment screw produces a more linear flow control than ordinary tapered screws. ith the use of a locking nut, the in-line flow control may e secured in its nal setting. Settings are maintained even under adverse conditions such as vi ration. A captive ad ustment screw prevents loss or dangerous low out. | | |
