General
By using a linear encoder the static position stiffness of the linear actuator increases, as well as its controllability and positioning accuracy. The static position stiffness describes the ability to retain the current position permanently even if an external force (such as a machining force) is applied. Due to the sensor is mounted on the load attachment plate an additional cable carrier is to be fitted -> see page 28. Attention! The sensor cable is not applicable to be mounted into in cable carriers chain.
If not otherweise specified, the linear encoder is mounted on the same side as the motor. Otherwise please specify with your order "linear encoder right" or "linear encoder left" (see figure below).
