Automotive
Zero defects are taken for granted in the automobile industry and related sectors. Product defects would not only lead to expensive recalls but could also endanger human lives. Just think of an airbag which wouldn't open correctly. Other typical automotive parts inspected by our systems include antennas, car horns, connectors, valves, rims, windscreens, motor blocks, sunroofs, car keys, filters, etc.
Beverage
Modern stations fill more than 70,000 bottles per hour. Thus, it is impossible to check each bottle manually. However, our systems can inspect 100% of the bottles even at this high speed. We have solved typical glass bottle inspection tasks such as finding cracks, chips or foreign bodies inside the bottles as well as "post filling" inspections. Checking the correct position of the label or the bottle cap, reading best-before dates or checking the filling height are some typical examples.
Cosmetics
Not only for cosmetic products such as perfumes but also for other luxury goods, customers expect a perfect appearance of the product and its packaging. Product imperfections like small scratches, impurities or unorderly product assembly would sustainably damage the value of the product's brand. Besides checking visual product attributes we have also realised various OCV related applications, e.g. inspecting the correctness of production lot numbers or the readability of expiry dates.
Electronics
Especially in the Electronics industry, Machine Vision is an excellent tool for detecting potential failures, e.g. loose wires, bad soldering points, etc. in the early stages of the production process.
Imagecheckers are also used to detect components, their orientation or imprints. Our systems can be integrated "inline" at almost any place in your production line, thus eliminating costly rework of the final product.
