Das OSI PRECONNECT®-Verkabelungssystem in seiner
Qualität und Bandbreite wurde von Rosenberger-OSI Fiber-
Optics 1991 nachweislich als erstes Unternehmen auf den
deutschen Markt gebracht. Durch die langjährige Erfahrung
und ständige Weiterentwicklung haben wir auch heute noch
technologischen Vorsprung vor unseren Wettbewerbern.
Das OSI PRECONNECT®-Verkabelungssystem besteht aus
werkskonfektionierten LWL-Bündeladerkabeln mit bis
zu 144 Fasern - sie werden auch als „Trunk“ bezeichnet.
• Beide Kabelenden sind mit LWL-Steckverbindern
auf robusten Verteilköpfen mit gestuften Peitschen
konfektioniert und vermessen.
• Die Peitschen sind alphanumerisch und farblich
eindeutig kodiert.
• Die Standardkodierung bzw. der Lichtlauf ist gemäß der
Kanaltopologie der ISO/IEC 11801 und EN 50173-1
„gekreuzt“ - also A1 auf B1, A2 auf B2 ....
Auf Wunsch fertigen wir OSI PRECONNECT® selbstverständlich
auch „ungekreuzt“.
• Zur sicheren Installation sind die LWL-Steckverbinder,
Peitschen und Verteilköpfe mit zug- und querdruckfesten
Einzugsschläuchen geschützt.
• Die Einzugsschläuche gibt es in den Varianten
Indoor = staubdicht gemäß IP50 und
Outdoor = wasserdicht gemäß IP67
(siehe nächste Seite)
• Zur Aufnahme der beiden werkskonfektionierten
Verteilköpfe gibt es die für das System entwickelten
OSI PRECONNECT®-Gehäuse mit den speziellen
OSI PRECONNECT®-Vierkant-Schnittstellen für die werkzeuglose
Montage der Verteilköpfe zur zug- und
torsionsfesten Abfangung der Trunks.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The OSI PRECONNECT® fiber-optic cabling system with its
quality and bandwidth capabilities was introduced to the
German market in 1991. Rosenberger OSI Fiber-Optics was the
first company to introduce a product of this kind in Germany.
Years of experience combined with continual further
development has meant that we still have a technological lead
over our competitors even today.
The OSI PRECONNECT® fiber-optic cabling system consists
of factory assembled central loose tube
cables with
up to 144 fibers - the system is also known as “Trunk”.
• Both ends of the “Trunk”
cables are assembled and
measured with fiber-optic connectors on robust
cable dividers with stepped fanout legs.
• The fanout legs are explicitly alphanumerical and
color encoded.
• The standard light propagation is „crossed“ (flipped)
in accordance to the channel topology of ISO/IEC 11801
and EN 50173-1 what means A1 to B1, A2 to B2....
OSI PRECONNECT® “Trunk” systems can be ordered
„uncrossed“ on request
• For safe installation, the fiber-optic connectors, fanout
legs and the
cable dividers are protected inside the
installation tube.
Strain-relief and crush resistance are guaranteed.
• Installation tubes are available as
indoor = dust protected acc. to IP50 and
outdoor = water proof acc. to IP67
(see details on next page)
• For installation of the factory assembled
cable dividers
there are OSI PRECONNECT®-Panels with the special
OSI PRECONNECT® square interface developed for tool-less
mounting of the
cable dividers for tensile and torsion
resistant fixing of the trunks.
