This is particularly effective for machining steel forgings for automotive applications. 3 Stable tapping performance can be achieved thanks to the high wear resistance and toughness of the cobalt HSS substrate. 2 The use of special threading reduces tapping torque and heat generation, which creates stable, long tool life even when using water-soluble cutting fluid. 4 The excellent wear resistance and anti-welding properties of the V coating provide the S-XPF with stable tool life.
