The compact AC-Motors are availablewith all the important safety standards and voltages and thus can be usedworldwide. The induction motors are for uni-directional, the reversiblemotors for bi-directional operation. Thelatter type features a large starting torque and a built-in friction brake, butthe operation is limited to a 30 minutesduty cycle. The brushless dc motor systems forspeed control are all very compact. The BLU-Series is easy to operate (plug & play), the BLH - and BLF -Series are multi-func- tional. All types offer protection func- tions like overload protection with analarm signal and motor stop. A tachometer generator built into theAC-Motors allows a wide range ofspeed control. The simplestructure delivers high reliability at low cost, making the motor popular for variousapplications.
