| | | Process Controlled Pumping Many processes, typically chemical reactions, need stabile conditions to be carried out reliably. Good examples are reactions which will be performed at constant pH, temperature or pressure. Acid-Base-titration is an example, where an analysis is made by obtaining a defined pH using acid or base addition. | | |

| | | Single or Dual Pump Head OPAM Syringe Pump can be used for pH control in chemical reactions or titrations. A pH-meter with a voltage or current output signal is needed as an external device. The Single Head pump can be used for base or acid addition. In the Dual Head pump acid and base may have their own pump heads. Temperature control OPAM Syringe Pump suits also addition of reagents at constant temperature. For instance in the case of very exothermic reactions the system tempering is probably not efficient enough to keep the temperature low enough, the reagent addition speed should be lowered. OPAM Syringe Pump does it automatically. | | |

| | | Pressure control Constant pressure conditions can be achieved by pumping gas or liquid into a closed vessel, which is equipped with a suitable pressure sensor. | | |
