Operating power is supplied from a 5 Vdc AC adapter that operates on any voltage worldwide from 100 to 240 Vac. Should AC power fail, the unit can operates on a 3.6V lithium battery (included). It can run on battery power for days, weeks, or months depending on the user's settings. These wireless sensors transmit up to 90m (without obstructions or interferences) to a zSeries coordinator or wiSeries meter-controller. The coordinators and controllers connect directly to an Ethernet network and the Internet and serve active Web Pages to display and chart the data.
