BASIC SEARCH PRODUCTS

This range of robust illuminated mirrors provides the idealsolution for searching the underside of vehicles. Available in four versions, there is a vehicle search mirror to suit all operations.

TROLLEY MIRRORS

Vehicle trolley mirrors have robust castors with rubber tyres. They are equipped with large convex mirrors providing a wide field of view and the bright fluorescent lamp uses a 2m flying lead, allowing it to be unclipped for the search of vehicle interiors.The VM8 has an 8m cable, terminated with crocodile clipsand can be used with an external power source such as a car battery or, by using the VMT transformer, from AC power.The VMBD/2 is powered by 10 ‘D’ cell batteries (disposableor rechargeable), fitted into the handle.The VMBR is powered by an internal, rechargeable 12VNiCad battery pack, and is supplied with a battery charger.

HAND HELD MIRROR

The lightweight vehicle search mirror (VSM) is a hand-held model designed to be even more portable. The shatterproof convex mirror is illuminated by a 55 watt tungsten-halogen lamp. The mirror is attached to the shaft by a double-joint, allowing the viewing angle to be adjusted. The arm has ahand grip and upper arm cradle making it highly manoeuvrable and easy to use. The system is supplied complete with a rechargeable lead acid 12V, 8Ah shoulder pack (RBP) and charger (RCB) that can be operated from 100-120V or 220-240V AC.
