FRK-1 Fiberscope Rummage Kit is based on the successful BorescopeRummage Kit (see page 16), but has increased versatility. A choice of fiberscope from the recommended list on page 14 or from the many other models in the range, offering a variety of lengths and diameters to suit the application.In addition to the fiberscope, the kit contains a light course and two 12 voltbattery packs. Each battery will power the system for up to 40 minutes. The battery belt carries the light source and a battery pack, which is designed so the battery pack can be positioned in the small of the back, allowing room for other tools on the belt.

FIBERSCOPE SEARCH KITS

The Fiberscope Search Kit FSK-4A is a multi-purpose search kit developed for the inspection of buildings, ships and aircraft. The kit, packaged in an aluminium case for storage and transit, has three main components: a soft case containing the fiberscope, light source and accessories; a battery belt and battery charger.Additional storage space is provided for batteryoperable drill (available separately).The Olympus fiberscope, model IF6C5X1-8, with its 800mm long insertiontube, is fitted with a removable ‘Decabon’ protective sleeve for general search. The kit also contains two entry tools - one for floor boards, packing cases etc., and the other for vehicle doors. The 12 volt, 75 watt light source is supplied with a protective cover, designed for use in rain or harsh conditions.

FIBERSCOPE FLEX AND STAY ADAPTORS

An accessory which allows the fiberscope (or videoscope) to be housed in a semi-flexible tube. This will allow the instrument to be guided to difficult areas during a search.
