Fiberscopes Fiberscopes

Olympus has a large range of flexible fiberscopes to suit theever increasing requirements in industrial and security applications.Olympus fiberscopes incorporate coherent fibre optic imagebundles of the highest quality to give the clearest of images. There are many extra features including interchangeable tip adaptors, fixed focus and two or four way angulation of the tip section.Separate fiberscope literature details the complete range ofinstruments available, but the most common specifications for security applications are shown below.For insertion into gasoline/petroleum tanks, a speciallymodified fiberscope is available. The insertion tube is sheathed with a non-conductive, petrol resistant material and the tip is insulated to help reduce risks from static electricity or direct shorting of electrical contacts.
