Text version of the page
Obviously, there are other methods carried out by combinations or slight variations of the ones already mentioned though basically following their main guidelines.
Having these methods in mind, the type of impregnating substance, its application, the high safety standards of the equipment and an optimal final impregnation, in INDUSTRIAL OLMAR, S.A., we have developed three different kinds of autoclaves depending on their final application: autoclaves for the impregnation of wood through inorganic products (salts), autoclaves for the impregnation of wood through organic products and autoclaves for impregnation of wood through natural organic protectors (creosotes).
When talking about impregnation, it is important to point our that there are several ways of impregnating wood, though we will concentrate basically on two methods: the one know as full-cell or Bethell and the other one known as empty cell or Rueping.
The former intends to achieve the maximum impregnation of liquid in the wood by filling the cellular gaps, being the main feature of this system the initial vacuum cycle.
■ The latter intends to impregnate but through a vacuum/pressurization process in which wood is maintained at atmospheric pressure before the injection of liquid, an operation which is carried out at a higher pressure than in the first case.
The high ecological value, our concern about environment, changes in our lifestyle and its changes in our lifestyle and its large-scale use in industry are making Word have fields of industrial application hitherto unheard-of, being one of the most widely employed materials in construction. We just have to take a look at recreational facilities, furniture for exteriors and carpentry, fences, industrial packing, containers, etc.
Following that trend, INDUSTRIAL OLMAR, S.A. a company that has been dedicated to the fabrication of pressurized containers for more than sixty years, has set its technological and human power to work, obtaining surprising results in the fabrication, construction and final manufacturing of equipment in accordance with the difference needs of treatment and preparation of wood for its later industrial application in the variety of fields already mentioned.
Our technicians have developed autoclaves for a proper and good treatment of wood through inorganic salts, formed by composites of copper dioxide, chrome and arsenic, stabilization substances and/or other impregnating natural substances such as creosotes, all of them in search of preventive treatments against fungi and xylophagous insects and, in general, treatments which contribute to wood stability and durability.
To this purpose, in INDUSTRIAL OLMAR, S.A., we have designed autoclaves, mixture deposites, depots, dirty/lean creosote depots as well as accessories and complement for all systems.
The main depot of impregnating liquid may be located at the rear part of the equipment, at the bottom, in parallel or even on the autoclave thus, offering a versatility which can be exploited depending on the needs.
OLMAR autoclaves are supplied with a microprocessor which automatically controls all the process. They include all sort of controls depending on the criteria and specific needs of each customer. The possibilities are nearly unlimited.
Our systems of control are based on complex electronical systems based on microprocessors with long-distance data transmission.
Complete cycle performance programmes, fixing of temperatures, time, vacuum cycles, and over pressure
INDUSTRIAL OLMAR, S.A. likewise designs and manufactures the necessary complements to work with this equipment. Automatic loading and unloading systems, container cages and all that auxiliary equipment which is asked for by our customers.
Our Technical Department is at your disposal to advice you and suggest the best solution, once we have studied your specific needs, guaranteeing an improvement of the final results and a complete after-sales service.
are automatically carried out by the microprocessor, warning about the end of the cycle and storing the data in its main memory for a later analysis.
The possibility of analysing all these data and graphs through a PC screen is possible just making a signal arrive from these microprocessors to the PC in our office. Therefore, we will be able to see, study, calculate and even change from our table the different programmes with the aim to improve even more each of the cycles of automatization.
Likewise, we would like to remind you that our after-sales department will be in charge of the solution of any particular problem which may arise during your working week, which gives our customers the security of being always supported by the technical team which INDUSTRIAL OLMAR, S.A. has at your disposal constantly.
