1 When you are looking to produce pellets with pieces of wood, pallets, rough-shredded material, chips, slats, vine trunks …, pre-treatment before the hammer mill is essential. The Oliotechnologyshredder/grader is equipped with quality hardened steel blades, mounted on a spindle that rotates at 1500 rpm. A flywheel, with a motor of just 7.5 kW, allows the machine to cope with pieces of wood more than 10 cm across. Wood, but also miscanthus, newspaper, cardboard, plastic… are shredded until they will pass through a screen10 mm thick.
