Properties and planning for the EBK ducting systems
Planning
When planning an underfloor installation with the EBK system, the following criteria should be tested with regard to later use:
Installation
The flushfloor, closed EBK ducting system is laid, aligned and fixed on the raw screed. Couplers support the joints ofthe underfloor ducts and help to adjust the height. The height-adjustment range is +20 mm.
To ensure the required floor load capacity and construction stability, the screed must be worked tightly up against the box. The ducting sections must also be supported with screed in the edge areas.
Number of cables to be laid and the required workplace connections Filling factor (as guide value for first filling, the filling factor related to the trunking cross-section should not be greater than 0.6)
Density ofthe connection grid Design and thickness ofthe screed
