They remain Inherently Flame Resistant after years of Laundering. LCI Pants are also light weight. Every lineman, electrical contractor, industrial electrician and thermographer, working in the proximity of an electrical circuit, is at risk of severe burns or death in the event of an arc flash incident. Every day in the USA, there are approximately 10 Arc Flash incidents and up to two fatalities. An Arc Flash can cause 3rd degree burns in a fraction of a second. The fabric is durable and comfortable and meets NFPA 70E requirements. All the materials used in these shirts are FR, including buttons and thread.
