| The Odyssey is a total non-intrusive JTAG debugger. It does not use any resource from the target. Hence the entire target is untouched and intact. User can use the entire RAM for his program purpose, | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Status LED's for indication of the target state | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Three status LED's are used for indicating to the user the state in which the target is. The states that are indicated are: Target Halted - It indicates that the target is halted and is in the debug state. Target Running - it indicates that the target is executing instructions normally. Single Step - It indicates that the target has executed a single instruction. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Indication for target registers and memory | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The Odyssey is capable of reading the target registers (R0-R15 and CPSR), and any valid memory location from RAM or FLASH. It can also modify the RAM locations. Along with the TritonIDE it gives a complete development platform for the user for development of programs and debugging. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Supports GDB remote Serial Protoco | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| GDB is the most powerful and feature enriched debugger available today. It supports multiple processor architectures and platforms. The Odyssey supports the GDB remote Serial Protocol for debugging of a remote target. The user can also use the Odyssey as a standalone unit along with GDB. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
