PRECOTE 85 was introduced in answer to the industry’s need for a better way of fastening components in place during assembly. It has been approved worldwide by automotive manufacturers and has proved invaluable in electronics, telecommunications, aerospace and other high-tech industries.
TM is a dual microencapsulated epoxy-acrylate chemical adhesive. During the assembly process the microcapsules are ruptured and the curing process begins. Fast curing, turquoise colored PRECOTE 85 offers very low coefficient of friction providing excellent Torque/ Tension results. It can be applied to internal and external threaded fasteners. PRECOTE 85 Turquoise – High-strength thread coating for high stressed bolts with controlled torque/tension. Temperature resistant from -58ËšF (-50ËšC) up to 390ËšF (200ËšC).
