PRECOTE ® was introduced in answer to industry’s need for a better way of fastening components in place during assembly. It has been approved worldwide by automotive manufacturers and has proved invaluable in electron - ics, telecommunications, aerospace and other high-tech industries. It is available in these versions: • PRECOTE 30 ® : Yellow – For medium thread locking and sealing where lower strength and easy removal are required. Temperature resistant from -58ËšF (-50ËšC) to 300ËšF (150ËšC) No uncontrolled post-curing. • PRECOTE 80 ® : Pink – For high-strength thread locking and sealing and heat resistant thread coating. Temperature resistance from –58ËšF (-50ËšC) up to 340ËšF (170ËšC). No uncontrolled post-curing. • PRECOTE 85™: Turquoise – High-strength thread coat - ing for high stressed bolts with controlled torque/tension. Temperature resistance from -58ËšF (-50ËšC) up to 340ËšF (170ËšC). No uncontrolled post-curing.
