| | | Euro-Series Radial & Angular Robotic Gripper Gripper Summary of Operation: Radial "ERG" The piston rod has multiple gear teeth machined on one end. Each jaw has a pinion gear arrangement which engages the piston rack. As the piston moves up and down, the pinion arrangement rotates the radial jaws open and closed. Angular "EAG" Like the parallel grippers, the double acting piston has a radial groove to which the same rocker arm engages. As the piston moves up and down, the rocker pivots moving the gripper jaws in an angular motion open and close. | | |
