Norit Water Expenses for disposal of industrial and municipal wastewater continue to increase due to more stringent governmental legislation mandating lower discharge limits and higher discharge taxes. Moreover, the intake of ground water is being limited to prevent dehydration of the soil which has a destructive influence on nature’s flora and fauna. The call for a closed water cycle is becoming stronger and more efficient wastewater treatment techniques, such as the Membrane BioReactor (MBR), have been developed.An MBR is a compact-built purification system combining the biological degradation step with a membrane separation step. The influent is fed to the aerated bio-reactor where the organic components are oxidized by the activated sludge. Next, the aqueous activated sludge solution passes through a membrane filtration unit separating the water from the sludge. MBR Skids Norit Crossflow MBR

The Norit MBR skid is a standardized filtration unit holding a set of up to 30 modules. These standardized skids (Airlift
TM or Crossflow) can be incorporated in plants and directly connected to feed-, air- and filtrate lines. They can be used either for green fields and/or upgrades of existing sewage treatment plants.

Rental Services Sterile Water Filtration

The Aqua Membrae Filtration System (AMF) is a compact sterile filtration system, which is designed to be sterilized with steam or sanitized with hot water. The fully automated plug & play unit can be applied in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries for fine filtration of raw water. Pharmaceutical water treatment units corresponding perfectly with the EU and U.S. pharmacopeias are offered as well. These units product purified water, highly purified water and water for injection. The entire system can be sanitized by hot water at 85Ëš C.
