| | | NVRAM Data Back up Having the consideration of easy data back up of the system; the NICE 3200/3220 has an optional NVRAM socket reserved for memory back up SRAM. To protect the data lost in the event of power failure, the system automatically back up the last un-finished transaction or data to NVRAM. When the power is restored, the NICE 3200/3220 could continue the un-finished transaction or transmitting data that has been saved in NVRAM. This is an important feature for factories automation because the system will prevent the data lost or duplicate transactions that may cause damages on the assembly lines or equipments. Automatic Flow Control / Isolation The NICE 3200/3220 series has one screw terminal (10-pin) for COM3 and COM4 to support RS422/485 with automatic flow control. Unlike RS232 port, the RS422/485 port supports daisy chain connectivity and it is able to perform real time status check of the devices. In addition, the NICE 3200/3220 series employs the Optical isolation method; it functions like a fire door to protect the system and reduce the damage from high-voltage current attack up to 2000 VDC. Optional 2nd Tier Expansion The NICE 3200/3220 series has an option to add a 2nd tier expansion kit on top of the original unit, which is available upon ODM request. The utilization of the additional space on top of the original unit could configure a slim-type of CD-ROM, PC/104 or PC/104-plus modules that offer customer-defined I/Os. Accept a Wide Range of DC Power Voltages As the on-board power control circuit is able to accept a wide range of signal input Industrial dc power supply voltages, from +9 to +36 VDC, the NICE 3200 Series could fit many different applications' requirements in the industrial field. The standard DC power supply of the NICE 3200 series provides +24 VDC (the current is most stable at +24VDC). ETX CPU Module and Carried Board Customization The NICE 3200/3220 series is made-up of three main elements: ETX CPU module, carried board, and aluminum chassis & membrane (I/O port bracket). There are three ETX CPU modules (Intel® Celeron® M 600 MHz, 1 GHz, & AMD LX800) and one standard carried board available for different matches. To better serve different vertical Industrial needs and shorten the developing time, we offer the carried board customization services for additional I/O ports and membrane. | | |
