This patented ultrasonic motor offers millimeters of stroke, sub-micrometer precision and high force. It withstands high shock and has low power requirements for battery-driven devices. The SQL-1.8-6 SQUIGGLE motor is 1.8 x 1.8 x 6 mm in size, small enough to fit in miniature OEM products such as phone cameras, endoscopes, micro-pumps and much more. Our design and engineering teams work with OEM customers on mounting, mechanical integration and electrical integration (including ASIC motor controllers) in your system, for optimum motor performance in the smallest envelope. The SQL-1.8-E evaluation pack allows fast evaluation of a single SQL-1.8-6 motor. The evaluation pack includes: Sub-micrometer precision Silent, ultrasonic operation Wide operating temp. range One SQL-1.8-6 SQUIGGLE motor, mounted in an ABS plastic bracket for right-out-of-the box evaluation. Once you decide the SQL is right for your application, you can order un-mounted motors for smallest size (minimum order quantity applies), or we’ll work with you to design a custom mount or application- specific module and integrate it into your product design. One MC-3100E motor controller. This controller generates ultrasonic signals used to drive one or two SQL Series SQUIGGLE motors, in open-loop or closed-loop configuration. Demo software. New Scale’s user interface and ActiveX command library make it simple to operate and evaluate the motor. You can also build custom scripts using the intuitive scripting interface. These scripts and ActiveX commands can be used later, in your embedded system design.
