The SQ-100-N Series SQUIGGLE motor is a patented piezoelectric motor designed for easy integration into compact scientific OEM instruments, including laser systems and microscopes. It offers higher resolution and push force than our smaller SQL Series motors. The SQ-100-N drives axial loads of 5 N or more. Like all SQUIGGLE motors, it holds its position with the power off for “set and hold” positioning. It is quiet in operation and generates no magnetic fields. SQ-100-N Motor OEM Evaluation Kit
The OEM evaluation kit includes an SQ-100-N motor, an MC-1000 drive card, a 24 V power supply, computer control software, and all adapter cables to connect the motor to the drive card. The kit allows instrument designers to quickly integrate and test the motor in their current or next-generation systems. Use the MC-1000 drive card as a reference design, or ask us to build a custom drive card for your application. The SQ-100V-N vacuum-compatible option automates in-vacuum alignment without mechanical feed-throughs. It provides 20 nanometer resolution with ultra-low outgassing and heating. Other SQUIGGLE Motors from New Scale
