RFID transponders
Nedap has a wide range of industrial
transponders for various
applications. Different sized and
shapes are available. The
transponders are designed to
operate for a long period of time in
rough industrial environments.
Key features
Excellent detection ranges
Read/Write
Industrial design
Highly chemical resistant
Wide temperature range
The Nedap RFID-tags are available in
various shapes and sizes to suite your
specific application. The tags operate
on a 120 kHz frequency. Due to the
passive identification technology the
tags don t need a battery. The required
energy is supplied through the Nedap
reader and antenna.
Excellent detection performance
Depending on the application and
required detection range a specific tag
can be chosen. Configurations with
detection ranges up to 0.5m [1.64 ft]*
are feasible. Direct mounting on
various surfaces, even on or embedded
in (non-) ferrous metals is possible.
Read/Write
The tag s EEPROM is suited to store
and recover new programmed data for
over 500.000 times. The user has the
disposal of either a 6 digits number or
a 20 character hexadecimal string. A
unique customer code is combined with
the 6 digits code in order to achieve a
high level of security.
Of course customer defined preprogrammed
tags are available as well.
Optional tags can be laser engraved
with text, logos etc. All types fully
satisfy the regulations according the
CE- and EMC guideline.
Industrial design
The Nedap RFID-tags are specially
designed to operate for a long period of
time in rough industrial environments.
Whether it concerns moist, dirt or
tough mechanical circumstances, the
tags are equal to their task. Even in the
area of resistance to chemicals an
excellent performance is shown.
Limited solutions of e.g. Acids, bases or
hydrocarbon do not affect the tag s
operation.
Wide temperature range
Some of the NEDAP RFID
transponders are characterised by a
high temperature resistance and are
therefore suitable for applications
where extreme low and high
temperatures are encountered.
Applications
Industrial automation, container and
tool management, tracking and tracing
of assets, tracebility of slaughter hooks
and meat trays.
