Kenics™ Sanitary Mixer Mixing Technologies’ static mixers utilize process specific elements in a housing for continuous flow applications. The elements use the energy from the process stream to provide blending and dispersion with minimal pressure (energy) loss. The KMR-SAN allows for blending or dispersing liquids, gases or solids in a short length of pipe, while uniformly and quickly heating or cooling ingredients as required. Our static mixers give you inline, continuous mixing and processing with no moving parts, no maintenance, and no external power. Standard Features • Material of construction is 316L stainless steel • Grooved ferrules are compatible with hygienic clamps • Elements polished to a #4 sanitary finish. Housing is 16 gauge polished sanitary tubing (14 gauge for 4" units) • Elements are removable Blending • Fruit Juice Concentrates • Corn Syrup • Flavorings • Colorants • Ice Cream • Yogurt • Cheese • Peanut Butter Numerous applications in the food and pharmaceutical industry have built Kenics mixers’ reputation for cleanliness and cleanability. Typical Applications • No moving parts • Clean in place • Sanitary construction Clean in place (CIP) models will be installed with flow vertically downward or with the mixer at an angle greater than 45° to the horizontal to be fully 3A compliant. If a clean out of place (COP) model is acceptable, a horizontal installation is possible and is still 3A compliant.
