These small rugged bundles are ideal for portable or distributed The chassis controls the timing for the module and handles communication with the PC over the USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 W-Fi bus. Additionally, all NI CompactDAQ chassis include four counterAimers that you can access through a digital I/O module like the NI 9401. The NI 9472 is an 8-channel, 100 us sourcing digital output module for any NI CompactDAQ or CompactRIO chassis. Each channel is compatible with 6 to 30 V signals and features 2,300 Vrms of transient overvoltage protection between the output channels and the backplane. Each channel also has an LED that indicates the state of that channel. Wth the NI 9472, you can connect directly to a variety of industrial devices such as motors, actuators, and relays. You can choose from two connector options for the NI 9472: a 10-position screw terminal connector and a 25-position D-SUB connector. This industry-standard 25-position D-SUB connector provides for low-cost cabling to a wide variety of accessories from NI or other vendors. Several vendors with custom D-SUB cable fabrication services can deliver cables with a pinout that matches your exact application needs. NI recommends the NI 9932 strain relief connector accessory for the NI 9472 when using screw terminal connectivity and the NI 9934 accessory for 25-position D-SUB connectivity.
