ETHERPAD DIGITAL I/O DATASHEET
Software Specification Serial Protocols: Raw, Redirector, TC500, Modbus/RTU, Modbus/ASCII Network Protocols: TCP/IP, UDP/IP, BootP/DHCP, TFTP, ICMP, ARP, Proxy ARP, Telnet, FTP (client & server), HTTP, SMTP, DNS, PPP, RIP, SNMP (v1), Modbus/TCP, Modbus/UDP, Redirector (RFC2217) Parity : None, Even, Odd, Mark, Space Flow Control : None, Hardware (RTS/CTS), Software (XON, XOFF)EtherPAD Digital IO - 14452 EtherPAD Digital I/O Data Size: 5, 6, 7, 8 Stop bits: 1, 2 Data Throughput: 300 - 115200 Baud per port Web Server The EtherPAD Digital I/O is a versatile device that can be used in stand-alone, DIN rail or 19 rack-mount applications. The Digital I/O provides a powerful interface for connecting digital signals to Ethernet. Remotely monitor and control digital signals using SANscript to provide a customised solution. Use the sample script to send email alerts and log to file or html. Visualise the I/O status via a web browser or SNMP manager. The EtherPAD Digital I/O has a manual or auto-selectable 10/100 Base-T Ethernet interface. One RS232/RS422/RS485 serial interface connects an asynchronous serial device to an Ethernet network. Alternatively, connect a modem to enable remote access to I/O contacts and/or Ethernet network. The second serial interface connects to the Digital I/O board. The following key-enabled software option is included: Scripting Password protection Firmware upgrade over serial Kermit or network The following software options are available:Data Logging, PPP, Routing, Modbus Scripting, Modbus Bridge Multiple concurrent network connections (max 50) SANscript creates powerful custom applica-tions which includes embedding data into the web server or MIB table. Serial, I/O & Network data can be manipulated as it traverses the EtherPAD.Hardware Specification ARM7 processor 8MB RAM, 4MB Flash 10/100 Base-T Ethernet line interface RS232/RS422/RS485 Serial interface RS232 Serial configuration interface LED indication for Ethernet & Serial port status, and indicators for EtherPAD health. 1x Analog Input: There is no over current protection. Analog range is between 4mA and 20mA. External circuitry voltage required should ideally be between 6V and 24V. 4x Digital Inputs: Internal Supply Voltage of 3.3V to 3.5V across the pins can be switched by simply connecting a relays output to the pins. 2x Digital Outputs: Output relays are capable of a maximum switching voltage of 24V DC/ AC and a maximum switching current of 1A. Outputs can be configured as normally-open or normally-closed via an internal jumper setting.Features include: 4x Digital Inputs, 2x Digital Outputs and 1x Analog Input. Device network connectivity via UDP/IP, TCP/IP with SNMP MIB II protocol suite. Data logging facility with attachment email option. Device management via Telnet, BootP/TFTP, Web Browser, SNMP, Built-in Serial configura- tion interface, Windows and Linux configuration Utility. Flash memory for convenient software updates via FTP. Modbus Bridge and Scripting. Dynamic Routing and PPP-over-Serial. Multiple Network connections allowed to the same Serial data stream. DIN Rail mounting and 19 rack mounting kits available.Electrical SpecificationsPower requirement:External Power supply: Connector: IBM type at rear and terminal type on the front plate for DIN Rail PSU. 5W 10V-30V DC or 10V-20V AC (power supply adapter available as an option www.multenet.com January 2005 |
