RoHS Compliance
Measurement Specialties' goal is to make all applicable products compliant with the European RoHS Directive and UK RoHS regulations for "the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment." Work is progressing on all affected products to complete compliance in advance of the July 1, 2006 deadline. Some products are already identified as compliant, exempt from or outside the scope of the RoHS Directive. Cross-functional project teams are actively identifying and converting to suitable replacements for those substances banned by the RoHS Directive. For details about specific products, please contact customer service at sensors.help@meas-spec.com or 757-766-1500.
