MosChip MCS7830 is a USB 2.0 to Ethernet bridge that enables LAN connectivity for products with a USB interface. It is a cost effective companion chip for Processor or SoC that has an integrated USB Host interface. The device has internal buffering to enable operations from USB ports on host side and MAC ports on the Ethernet bus to meet the demands of applications such as digital media adapters, docking stations, network dongles and peripheral device servers.

MosChip offer a family of devices that bridge USB 2.0 to the traditional RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485 serial interfaces. MCS7840 is a single chip USB 2.0 to quad UART device, and MCS7820 is a USB 2.0 to dual UART device. The products are suited for USB to Serial and Express Card adapters for the PC/Notebook, Industrial PC, Factory Automation, Point of Sale, and Instrumentation markets.

MosChip MCS7717 is a single chip with an integrated USB hub and parallel printer and serial port. MosChip also offers MCS7705 as a bridge between USB and the traditional parallel printer port. These devices are successfully used in USB Adapter cables, Port Replicators and Docking Stations.

MosChip provides evaluation boards and software for all the USB connectivity products. Device drivers are available for Windows, Vista, WinCE, Linux and MacOS.
